Gail's Summer Citrus Cooler
Make this in a big 1 gallon pitcher because it makes a lot. Doesn't last real long however.Gails Summer Citrus Cooler

Ingredients

  • 6 pink grapefruit halved
  • 12 lemons halved
  • 12 limes halved
  • 12 Juicing oranges halved**
  • 1 cup simple syrup (more if you like it real sweet)
  • Water or Sparkling water to fill the pitcher
  • Lemon wedges and mint sprigs for garnish

Directions

Juice the citrus (grapefruit thru oranges) on a citrus juicer. Pour the juice in a 1 gallon pitcher. If you don't want pulp, you can strain it. Pour in the simple syrup and enough water or sparkling water to fill the pitcher. Stir and chill 4 hours before serving. Pour over Ice and garnish with a lemon wedge and mint sprig.

**I like to use a mixture of different oranges like navel, blood oranges and valencia for more flavor.
