Leek Dip

A mild creamy dip that puts leeks in the spotlight. Serve with buttery, round crackers. It's always a big hit at parties.

Ingredients:

• 3/4 cup chopped leeks
• 1 8oz package cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup creamy salad dressing (miracle whip)
• 1 tbsp white vinegar
• 1 tbsp white sugar
• 1/2 cup crumbled cooked crispy bacon. About 8 strips
• Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

In a medium bowl, mix together the leeks, cream cheese, creamy salad dressing, vinegar, sugar, bacon bits, salt and pepper. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours until well chilled.
